Using your full screen
Depending on your particular browser, there are a number of ways to make use of your
full screen and minimize the need to scroll within the program.
Ways to make use of your full screen
- Click the Maximize icon in the upper right hand corner of your browser window
- For Internet Explorer, click the View/Full Screen command
- For Netscape, click the View/Hide Toolbar commands
Closing new browser windows
Pop-up windows and Acrobat Reader files open new browser windows. To return to the primary browser window:
- Click the "close" icon in the upper right hand corner of your new browser window
Backing up
Using the browser's Back icon is not the recommended method for backing up to previous screens. Instead:
- Right Click toward the bottom of the page and select "back" from the pop-up menu.
Playing audio or scenarios
If you chose the "Audio and Text" version of this program, you will have various options to listen to audio or view a slideshow, called a scenario.
To listen to audio or view a scenario
- Click "play audio" or "play scenario"
- If you do not have Flash on your system, you will be instructed to download the plug-in from the Internet
- Follow the instructions to download the latest version of Flash from the Internet
Printing
To print the contents of a screen from the program
- Click on the screen
- Click your browser's Print icon in the tool bar
- Or click the File/Print command
To print a PDF (Portable Document Format) file from within Concepts or Resources (Articles and Tools):
- Click the command within the program to print the file (such as "print concept")
- If you do not have the Adobe Acrobat reader on your system, you will be instructed to download the plug-in from the Internet
- Follow the instructions to download the latest version of the Adobe Acrobat reader from the Internet
- Click the print icon within Adobe Acrobat
- Or click the File/Print command
Exiting the program
If you are accessing this program through Harvard Business Online or through your company's learning management system, you must click Exit on the left navigation menu when you are finished. Otherwise, your input will not be saved when you return to the program and your completion status will not be made available to your organization.
